Since 1995 the city of Tilburg has a very imperative environmental policy based on a firm political and social basis. At first there is a level created for surroundings and at the second level for the buildings themselves.
For the first level an "Environmental Profil" is used for neighbourhood level, and for the second level, the buildings, a tool named "GPR2" is used.
