Tool summaryName of the tool Spatial and Territorial Indicators Description of the tool Spatial and territorial indicators are proposed and developed, based on spatial analysis and territorial assessment. Spatial analysis is performed using spatial data (categorised by a series of feature types: points, nodes, lines, links, chains and rings, polygons, pixels and grid cells); the analysis includes methods used to explore the spatial relationships between features both real and theoretical, the process of extracting or creating new information about a set of geographic features and the study of the locations and shapes of geographic features and the relationships between them. Territorial assessment comprises the consideration of the management and state of the land as divided into political and administrative units. CORINE Land Cover dataset and GIS as technical tools are used for development and implementation of the indicators. Specific topic National and regional levels (EU) Sector/s of use
